Do I need an audience to join?
Nope. There's no minimum follower count, no approval process, and no quota. Even if you just share your link with a few mates in the trades, you'll earn commission on anyone who signs up.
How and when do I get paid?
Payouts go out on the 1st of every month via PayPal. There's a $20 minimum balance to trigger a payout, and commissions are held for 30 days before becoming payable (this protects us both from refund issues).
What counts as a successful referral?
When someone clicks your link and signs up for a paid TradieKit subscription within 45 days, they're attributed to you. You earn 30% of every payment they make for the lifetime of their subscription — no cap, no expiry.
What if a customer refunds or cancels?
If a refund happens within the hold period, the commission is reversed automatically. If a customer cancels later, you simply stop earning on them from that point — no clawbacks for past months.
Can I refer myself?
Unfortunately no — self-referrals are not allowed. But you can absolutely be a TradieKit customer and an affiliate at the same time, which is a pretty common setup for tradies who love the tools.
Do you provide marketing materials?
Yes. Once you're in, you'll get access to banners, logos, product screenshots, pre-written post ideas, and email swipes. All free to use.
Is there a contract or lock-in?
None. You can join today and stop tomorrow with no penalty. We want this to be a fair arrangement both ways.
